From a very early age Pookie had great passion for music, played several instruments and had a good ear. He almost ended up as a drummer of one of the Serbian biggest rock bands of the moment - Darkwood Dub. Since 1996 Pookie has rocked all decent clubs and bars in the region and his DJ sets are considered as one of the most danceable around. His sets with names like Darren Emerson, Felix Da Housecat, Shapeshifters, Sander Kleinenberg, Sandy Rivera, Timo Maas, Carl Craig and many more, were as memorable to his fans as the sets of big DJs afterwards. Beside spinning records, Pookie is also known as one who surely loves to organize a good party. In the last ten years he brought to Serbia more than 100 foreign DJs and bands, always trying to push things forward and get the Serbian club scene on the world map. He had collaboration with all major music companies in the region - Exit Festival, Belgrade Beer Fest, Green Beat Festival, Urban Experience, MTV Parties, HMK Music, etc. He was the managing director of clubs “Andergraund” and “Bassment”, who were voted for several years in a row as best clubs in the country. Recently, Pookie focused all his time and knowledge in music production. After a long search he found a young and extremely talented Producer & DJ Dave Floyd, with whom he started “Ambasada Records” in the summer of 2008. So far the label had 6 great releases, with a good feedback from people all over the world. Beside their record label, Floyd & Pookie release their tracks and remixes on several international big labels - Sleaze (USA), Nocturnal Groove (UK), Berwick Street (UK), Lekker Records (UK), and collaborate with names like Cedric Gervais, Yousef, Delicious, Shapeshifters, Stephen M, Greg Stainer, Alex Miles and many others.
